Excuse me, Captain, Sir, Richard Castle would follow Beckett to Tierra del Fuego. Richard Castle would still want to follow her if she worked at mall security. He would still want to be her partner if she worked at a fast food restaurant. He has promised her forever, that is the meaning of 'Always' for them: they're gonna be each other's missing piece until the world's consumed, until the end of time. So yes, he has followed her to Los Angeles; yes, he would still want to follow her if she worked at mall security, and yes, right now I think I am a proud Caskett shipper because writing this post has made me realize Castle is not in love with a cop: he is madly, desperately, absolutely in love with a woman who happens to work as a cop, and he would still love her with the same intensity had she any other job. Okay, that's it.
